What is ChatGPT Plus?

ChatGPT Plus is a paid subscription to ChatGPT, costing US$ 21.54 per month (including VAT). It offers users availability even during peak times, faster response times, and priority access to new features (such as GPT-4) and improvements.

How can I sign up for Plus?

  1. Create a free account with OpenAI (a mobile phone number is required).
  2. Click on the “Upgrade to Plus” option at the bottom right of the chat window sidebar.
  3. Select “Update plan” in the ChatGPT Plus menu that appears.
  4. A new window will open, redirecting you to Stripe, a secure payment provider.
  5. Enter your personal details and credit card information here.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Click on “My account” in the sidebar of the chat window. Then click on “Manage subscription” in the pop-up window. You will be redirected to a Stripe page where you can select “Cancel subscription.” Your cancellation will take effect the day after your next billing date. Until then, you can continue using the services. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the next billing date. Subscription fees are non-refundable.

What is the refund policy?

If you live in the EU, the United Kingdom, or Turkey, you can request a refund if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. For a refund request, contact refunds@openai.com.

How can I request a VAT refund?

Email customer-tax@openai.com with your billing details (name, email, and billing address) and include “VAT refund” in the subject line.

My account has been cancelled. Can I get a refund?

If your account is cancelled due to a violation of the Terms of Use, you remain responsible for any unpaid fees and will not receive a refund for any remaining balance or prepaid services.

Where can I find my ChatGPT Plus invoice?

Credit purchase receipts are sent to the email address you provided at the time of purchase. You can also view your invoices in the sidebar by clicking on “My account” and then “Manage subscription.”

Are there alternative payment options?

At present, we only accept payments by credit card.

I want to use ChatGPT Plus with confidential data. Who can see my conversations?
